Vaishampayana continued narration to Janamejaya in reply to his queries as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who told Gandhari about the fall of Duryodhana?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Yudhishtira requested Krishna to meet Gandhari and inform her about the fall of Duryodhana. Krishna was an expert in speaking, hence he went to the Palace in his chariot and informed Gandhari and Dritarashtra about the fall of Duryodhana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna praised both Gandhari and Dritarashtra for some time on the night of the eighteenth night. When they heard the fall of Duryodhana, they started weeping. Krishna later informed Kripa that the Pandavas would be coming to the Palace with their wives on the next day morning. It would be the nineteenth day morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kripa had arranged to receive them all on the next day morning. Then, the war had ended so they tried to sleep peacefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What did Sanjaya do?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Sanjaya had tried to console Dritarashtra. He was weeping for the fall of all his children in the war. Only Yuyutsu was alive and the palace people started observing sorrows for the death of all Kauravas with their relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did Vidura console Dritarashtra?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoga and time could play the high hands in life according to the past actions of man. Hence, Duryodhana with his brothers had faced the results in their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did Vyasa console Dritarashtra?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Vyasa had consoled Dritarashtra by assuring him about the peaceful characters of Yudhishtira. Yudhishtira would look after Dritarashtra in a better and comfortable manner in life. But only the stupid get the sufferings, the learned intellectuals never suffer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why was Yudhishtira very sad after the war?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After the war, Yudhishtira was very sad to know that Karna was his elder brother and Kunti was the mother of Karna. Yudhishtira thought the war was bad and he had to kill his brothers in the war. It was time to observe sorrows for their death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who consoled the Pandavas?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Bhima and Krishna had consoled the other Pandava brothers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who consoled Dritarashtra?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sanjaya had praised Yuyutsu since he was alive and he was the only living son to Dritarashtra. Vidura had quoted many moral verses for Dritarashtra to hear and tried to console him. Gandhari had kept away for sleeping purpose. Hence on that night, Dritarashtra was finally tired after weeping and slept late at night. Then, Sanjaya, Vidura and Yuyutsu had gone to their own residences and slept silently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did Krishna come out of the Hastinavati Palace after the end of the war?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire staff in the Hastinavati Palace started weeping with the ladies present there. They started consoling mutually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna told Gandhari, he would call Kunti, Draupadi and Uttarakumari to the Palace on the next day morning. He explained Kunti lost her son Karna, Draupadi lost all her children and Uttarakumari lost the young Abhimanyu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gandhari agreed for calling them back to her Palace. With great grief, she had allowed Krishna to go out of the Hastinavati Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Next post, Mahabharat: Stri Parva
