Valmiki Maharshi: Author Of Ramayana

Ramayana is the greatest of epic writings the world has ever seen, written by Valmiki Maharshi in Sanskrit, read by everybody in some form or part of it again and again in our country. In the original book, Valmiki Maharshi initially, exhibits the main character, Rama as an ordinary king deprived of his throne or non-crowned. Driven out of palace and went to forest. Wife accompanied him but she is abducted by Demon Ravana. Rama bound to help Sugriva, the brother of Vali, the king of monkeys. Then the story reverses gradually since most of the actions executed by Rama establishes in the hearts of the readers, a sense of honor on him.

Karma: How It Affects Future

Karma means actions or work. The present enjoyments or sufferings are the results of our past doings. The future is in our hands. Time never stops. We are allotted our current day, and each and every moment of today should be well spent so that we enjoy better results in the forthcoming days. Sometimes we feel failed. Certainly, there would be one or more reasons for the failure. Experience is the best teacher, and talent must be developed on solitude. Character enhances the popularity in the company of like-minded people. Swami Vivekananda declares, nothing is impossible in this world, hence one could succeed in his endeavor if tried again and again, following the path of Dharma.

Earth: Reliable And Permanent

Our Earth is permanent, but always rotating around the sun. It is also revolving about its own axis which is inclined, more than twenty three degrees, having a shape of an apple. Technically, the shape is geoid. Three fourth of its mass is water and only one fourth is soil. In Rigveda or Yajurveda, it is explained as the Sun controls our Earth.

In mythology, Earth is worshiped as the wife of God Vishnu. God Shiva is allotted the duty of destruction according to the code of conduct of Indian (our) thought called Dharma. The dancing of Shiva is explained as Pralaya, which means total shuffling of the earth. The protector of earth has scientifically arranged one permanent shed as a safe house at Badari for the use in case of emergency and the creator Brahma used to sit in it, taking classes to his four children, namely, Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatkumara and Sanatana. That shed is called Narayana Ashram.

Narada Maharshi is an epic character noted for doubts management. He used to propagate Narayana mantras, consisted of four letters. By playing his Tamburi {a guitar like musical instrument, having fretted with three Turkey strings} in tune of this mantra, he campaigned for Dharma and always travelled to the palaces of Asuras or Devas or even to any people in this world.

Lord Vishnu is the father of Narada Maharshi and Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi is his mother. Lord Vishnu had taken twenty one round tours circumscribing the entire world, in order to protect the innocent people and give the capital punishment to the persons engaged in illegal actions, holding an axe, in disguise as a man with a name of Parasurama, or Asura Mardana. Narada Maharshi felt proud of his father.

Bharat: The Original Name Of India

Our country, Republic of India, was known as Bharata Khanda during the periods prior to the rulings of Mughal kings. After British rule, the name of the country has become India. In the epic Ramayana, the oldest Vanara is called as Jambava, or Jambavanta. He was one of the oldest in the Indian sub-continent, in the peninsular island area. Due to the familiarity, Rishis called it as Jambu Dweepa, an island portion on earth where Jambava, the oldest monkey used to move freely.

Shri Rama with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana went to the forest and his youngest brother Shatrughna became the acting king of the land for the purpose of administration only, under the instructions of Vasista Rishi. The other brother, King Bharatha had brought the pair of foot wear of Shri Rama, being failed in persuading him for returning back. King Bharatha placed those pair of foot wears in front of the empty throne, vacated by the late king Dasharatha, saying he is not interested to become the ruler. He went away to Nandi village for doing penance, stating he will return to the palace only after coming back of Sri Rama.

Six Seasons Of India

There are six seasons in India. Generally, there are four seasons, universally known as follows: Spring (Vasantha), Summer (Grishma), Autumn (Sharath) and winter (Shishira). The additional two more seasons classified are Monsoon (Varsha) and Pre-winter (Hemanta).

The most essential commodity for human life is water and the nature provides it by showering rains on earth. Hence the rainy season of monsoon is very important and in India, it is marked as Varsha Ritu. Ritu means season in Sanskrit. Also, after monsoon but prior to winter, there is a phenomenon in the trees which automates falling of their leaves. Trees may be preparing to face winter season and this pre winter season is marked in India as Hemanta Ritu. The Indian classification is illustrated below:
